Blackbird Automations is a Calgary-based automation and software firm. This page explains, in plain terms, what we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep this short on purpose: we collect very little.
What we collect
The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the contact form: a description of your problem, your business type, what you’re looking to build, an optional budget range, and your email address. We do not ask for, or store, payment details or sensitive personal data on this site.
If analytics is enabled, we also collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (pages visited, rough location, device type) to understand how the site is used. This is not tied to your name.

Why we collect it
Your contact-form details are used for one thing: to read your inquiry and reply to it. Analytics data is used only to improve the site. We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising.
Who processes it (and where)
To run this site we rely on a few service providers, some of whom process data outside Canada:

How long we keep it
We keep your inquiry for as long as we’re in contact and, if we work together, for the life of that engagement plus a reasonable period afterward. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial law, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email us and we’ll handle it.
